Makeshift items

Well, being quite the crafty guy IRL, I thought that maybe crafting small makeshift items like shives, trinkets and such in the game using the /me and /roll commands should be an option.
The items needed would probably be scrap you would be able to find randomly in the world, as for other items that would be bought/obtained in ''other'' ways (Totally not talking about stealing here <.< >.>)
Scavenging would be done with the /me and /roll commands
My guess it that this would bring a more realistic RP experience, and quite enjoyable for a crafty users.
